I took advantage of my birthday week to continue looking at myself -- literally! I've been working on three watercolor portraits, all develped from the same photograph. And then I"ve been sketching quick glances of myself in the mirror. I don't really look like any of these, yet I see myself in each one. The hardest challenge was getting past my vanity to see myself as a subject.
