Besides tulips, the one perennial I enjoy this time of year is Bleeding Hearts. There's one planted that blooms every year whether it's cold, rainy or warm. It always Shows Up. And isn't that the first rule of Life?
I love the obviousness of this plant: Hearts Bleed. They Withstand Cold and Hot.
